Pie charts

• Data means all sorts of information for example names of fruits and numbers

• This data can be put into a pie chart

• A pie chart is a circle which is divided into sections to show the proportions of a data set

• The number in each section depends on what fraction of the circle the section is

• If the section is half of the circle (180⁰) it will contain half of the total number
