Digital clock

• Digital clocks do not have moving hands or hour markings instead they have two pairs of digits separated by a colon eg 08:15
• The first two digits show the hour and the second two digits show the minutes
• Digital clocks can be 12 hour clocks where the hours go from 1-12 twice in a day with a.m. used for the first 12 hours of the day and p.m. for the second
• Digital clocks can also be 24 hours where a.m. and p.m. are not used and the hours go from 0-23
