  • Prepositions are words that link nouns or pronouns to other words in a sentence
  • They help to show where a noun is located - The owl is in between the boxes.
  • Or the direction in which a noun is going – Jim walked towards the park.
  • Or the time at which a noun does something - Nita reads books in the morning
