Suffixes

  • A suffix is a letter such as 's' or a group of letters such as 'ing' that is  added to the end of a word
  • A suffix changes the meaning of the word and/or how it is used in a sentence
  • For example with suffix 's' singular boy changes to plural boys
  • Suffixes are highlighted pink on the worksheets
  • READ/SPELL – suffix ‘s’
