  • Vowels are the 5 letters ‘a’, ‘e’, ‘i’, ‘o’, ‘u’

  • If a word is phonetic it means the word can be sounded out using the phonetic sound of individual letters, blends and digraphs

  • A grapheme is the letter or group of letters that represents one phoneme (one unit of sound).

  • All words in this activity are real English words
